We'll show you photos of jobs we've finished in the same material so you can see how it looks laid and how it weathers, rather than picking off a brochure.
Both last well when the base is done properly, and the base is where the difference really is. Resin gives a smooth, seamless finish with no weeds between joints and is permeable, so surface water drains straight through. Block paving is easier to lift and relay if you ever need access to a drain or a service, and single blocks can be swapped if one gets damaged. We'll tell you honestly which suits your drive rather than pushing the dearer option.
Yes. Our workmanship is covered by a 10-year guarantee, and the resin, blocks and slabs are covered by their own manufacturer warranties, so you're protected for the long term.
Most domestic driveways and patios take between three days and a week, depending on the size of the area, how much digging out is needed and the weather. We give you a realistic start and finish date with the quote and tell you straight away if anything is going to shift.
For a front driveway you'll need planning permission only if you're laying more than five square metres of non-permeable surfacing with nowhere for the water to drain. We design every driveway to drain properly, either with permeable paving or by directing run-off to a border or soakaway, so in practice permission is rarely needed. Rear patios are almost always permitted development.

We ask for a materials deposit once the job is booked in, then the balance on completion when you're happy with it. Everything is set out in writing before you commit.
